Junior and future #1 NBA draft pick Doug Collins appears in three photos. "The Redbirds of ISU defeated the Salukis from Southern Illinois for the third consecutive time as Doug Collins became the all-time scoring leader with 1,590 points."
ISU musical guests that year: The Fifth Dimension, Henry Mancini, Chase and an appearance by comedian Pat Paulsen who I assume was running for President. George McCovern also made an appearance.
